To provide community service through short-term labor and support to meet otherwise insurmountable community needs in a spirit of cooperative sisterhood.

SWOOP offers two programs to support our mission and purposes: SWOOPin' Saturday and Ramp It Up!

Purposes
1. To serve a diverse population facing challenges related to health, age, crime, poverty, homelessness, or (most commonly) some combination of these.

2. To better ourselves in body, mind, and spirit, by bettering the lot of others.

3. To build community among women by providing opportunities for networking and fun.
