In recognition of SWOOP’s upcoming 10th Anniversary
the Board of Directors is pleased to introduce the Sustainers Circle.

The Sustainers Circle is an opportunity for individuals and companies to make multi-year commitments of support for the continued sustainability and strength of SWOOP as a dynamic community service organization.

Special SWOOP thanks go to the women who originated the Sustainers Circle and offer their leadership to engage others to join them in recognizing SWOOP as a catalyst in our community for good works, sisterhood and contribution.

As you know, SWOOP has been using the past couple of years to build its infrastructure and capacity as a nonprofit organization -- we’ve hired staff to work with our many volunteer committees, bought a trailer and a truck, and continue to gather equipment and supplies.  We have been very successful with our two fundraising events, Whoopin’ it Up for SWOOP and the Strong Women and Heroes Dinner, as well as encouraging local companies to become sponsors.  Now individuals and businesses can make multi-year commitments of support to sustain SWOOP as a thriving non-profit.

Sustainers Circle Recognition
As a donor to the Sustainers Circle you will be recognized as the first community leaders to make a multi-year pledge of $3,000 or more to support the success of SWOOP.  (Other levels of giving for multi-year gifts are warmly accepted with recognition discussed at the time of giving.) Annual acknowledgements include:

• Listing of name and/or company logo on full-page Sustainers Circle thank you at annual event(s).  Scheduled 2006 events will include Whoopin’ It Up for SWOOP with Kate Clinton on May 7th and Strong Women and Heroes Tenth Anniversary Dinner on September 16th
• Listing of company logo on home page of SWOOP website, with link (as well as our Supporters page with all other donors)
• Two top tier tickets to annual event(s)
• Quarter-page ad in programs at annual event(s) (size of ad can increase with larger annual gifts)
• Opportunity for stage presence at one annual event
• Opportunity for a special e-mail message from Sustainers Circle directly to SWOOP membership
• Opportunity to speak briefly at one lunch break on a SWOOP day, with signage option (specific event to be negotiated/ coordinated based on other sponsorships)
• Opportunity to choose additional event-specific sponsorship or ads, as well as “first option” notification of other special events for promotional activities
